Joyce Yin's lyrical and well-projected soprano, and the youthful joy of her portrayal, were just right for Euridice
Ms. Yin's voice is clear and assertive, pealing forth to express her excitement. Stage-wise, she was a bundle of energy, and very amusing when she 'remembered' to strike the required archer's poses.
The standout of the evening was soprano Joyce Yin, who skirted the pitfalls of the potentially pitiful Dorinda, never losing her essential optimism and cheer while erecting a captivating character arch. - Jeremy Hirsch
